Recent studies from the “Make Beats Not Beat Downs (MBNBD)” National Anti-Bullying and School Violence program estimated that 160,000 children miss school on a daily basis in a paralyzing fear that their bullies will re-offend and attack them. This number is taken directly from the National Education Association’s (NEA) 2013 school violence statistics report; of reported instances.
